Meet Franco-American author and artist Rhéa Côté Robbins at a reception to open her mixed-media art exhibit inspired by French and English proverbs and sayings, “Maman Disait” (What mother said), Thursday, May 8 between 5 and 7 p.m. at the Franco-American Centre. The Currier Museum is celebrating moms with a guided tour, “Women in Art: Celebrating Mother’s Day” on Sunday, May 11 at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. It’s a chance to learn about the recent acquisition of “The Family,” by pop artist Marisol.
